Gym website design

People looking for a gym, a class or a club for their child want three things fast: what is on and when, what it costs, and how to try it. If the timetable is a blurry image, the prices say "call us" and the trial button is buried, they join the one down the road with a clearer site.

Short answer

A gym or club website needs a timetable that stays current, membership prices shown in full, a free trial or first class sign-up, real photos of the space and the coaches, and a page for each class type or sport. We build that for £949 setup and £59 a month (Grow) for most gyms and studios, or £449 and £39 (Launch) for a single-discipline club or small studio.

What people check before they turn up

  • What is on, and when. A timetable that works on a phone and matches what is happening this week.
  • What it costs. Memberships, class packs, pay as you go, family and student rates, and any joining fee, all on one page.
  • How to try it. A free trial, taster session or first class offer, with one button to claim it.
  • What it is like inside. Real photos of the space, the equipment and the people who will coach them.
  • Practical bits. Parking, changing rooms, what to bring, and accessibility.

One timetable, kept in one place

Most gyms and studios run classes and bookings through a booking or membership system. We embed its timetable and booking widget on the site, so you update it once and the website is always right. If you do not use one, we lay the timetable out as a proper web page and update it as an edit, which works for clubs with a timetable that changes each term rather than each week.

Clubs, martial arts and dance schools

Clubs and schools are mostly selling to parents. They want to know the age groups, what a first session involves, term dates and fees, kit and uniform, how gradings or competitions work, and who to contact about safeguarding. Ask permission before showing photos of members, and get parents' permission for anyone under 18. A page per age group or discipline helps parents find the right class and helps you show up when they search.

Prices and memberships online

A summary, not legal advice:

  • Show the full price. The CMA's guidance says the price you show should normally include unavoidable charges. If a joining fee cannot be avoided, read that guidance before advertising the monthly price on its own.
  • Say how long people are signing up for. If you sell memberships online, GOV.UK's online selling rules say you must tell customers the minimum length of their contract and the conditions for ending a rolling one.

What we build for gyms, studios and clubs

  • A page for each class type, sport or age group, written for the person deciding.
  • Your booking system's timetable embedded, or a timetable page kept current.
  • Membership and price pages with the full price and the terms in plain English.
  • A free trial or first class form on every page.
  • Coach profiles and real photos of the space.
  • Google Business Profile set up with opening hours that match the site.

If you are a personal trainer working on your own, the same team has a specialist page for personal trainer websites. Everything else is on our prices page, and the wider market is in what a website costs.

Example: an independent gym with a class timetable
